Craig joined Green Associates in 1996 when the business was primarily focused on insurance. Recognising the advice profession was evolving, he immersed himself in the technical side of financial strategy and portfolio construction, building the expertise that now underpins the firm’s advice philosophy.
At his core, Craig is passionate about helping people achieve their goals. Whether he’s guiding a client through a major life decision, mentoring a young adviser, or simply offering advice to someone he meets in everyday life, that desire to help others has been a constant throughout his career. Today, that passion is backed by more than three decades of experience in financial advice and business leadership.
Craig is a Certified Financial Planner®, holds a Master of Financial Planning, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is recognised as one of Australia’s most influential financial advisers through inclusion in the Financial Standard Power50.
Since succeeding founder Tony as Managing Director, Craig has led Green Associates through a period of significant growth, expanding the firm across Australia, enhancing the client experience, and introducing innovative ways of delivering advice. Under his leadership, the business has received multiple industry awards and built a reputation for professionalism, innovation, and genuine client care.
Ask the team what defines Craig’s leadership, however, and they’ll point to something else entirely. His greatest achievement is the culture he has helped create: one built on recognition, support, professional development, and a genuine commitment to helping people succeed.
That commitment extends beyond the workplace. Craig actively supports a range of charitable organisations, including the St Vincent de Paul Society and the Starlight Children’s Foundation, reflecting his belief that success is best measured by the positive impact we have on others.
And, if you didn’t already know, Craig is a lifelong Tottenham Hotspur supporter. He’ll happily admit that following Spurs has taught him plenty about patience, resilience, and maintaining a long-term perspective. Qualities that, as it turns out, are surprisingly useful in financial advice too.
